In the days of American glory and might; when John Wayne was "The Duke," Motown, disco, country and rock musical hits circled the globe with their messages and America still inspired, Max R. Blumenfeld left his European homeland to serve the "Stars and Stripes," its People and Nation. Initially enlisting as a soldier to climb the rank of a military field officer, he further served the Nation to thrive in the multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-national arena. Travel, adventure and "lessons learned" ensued throughout the States, in combat zones, in Africa's Trans-Saharan region and across Europe. Now retired in the great free State of Florida, he enjoys and keeps busy writing, reading, listening to music and working around his house.
